Love it..!!!! I have basically done the same thing but what started as a Halloween Horror movie fest has turned into a lifelong even where every day is Halloween.. LOL -- I find the older black and white Horror movies are my favorites as they were so original.. I also love the comedy horror movies such as Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein and the Ghost and Mr. Chicken. Love the fact that you included Tucker and Dale Meet Evil & Killer Klowns from Outer Space on this list, brilliant movies. Love this list man.

It always annoyed me that the key wouldn’t actually go into the keyhole and that the extra item would should in the expanded keyhole.

I grew up in Mexico. I found most of the secret exits over time little by little playing with my aunt, with my best friend of preschool and cousins. No internet, no clue whatsoever about the red dot meaning of the levels, just exploring and guessing lol. The hardest switch palace for me to find was the blue switch palace and I would never forget the way I found it. Trying to find a secret exit in Forest of Illusion 2 (underwater) a sleepy fish touched me, my Mario died and as I it was going down my aunt saw the keyhole in the screen when going down dying LOL. She screemed “While you were going down I saw the keyhole!”

One other secret I discovered as a kid that I don’t see mentioned in the comments is that if you go to the first secret area riding a Yoshi you can basically replay that level and get infinite amount of lives 👌🏻💯

You realize using a blue yoshi would make a lot of these a lot easier, right?

I love how even after you’ve found a way into star road you can still hunt for other entries so you can have a sort of fast travel system

18:17 this was the one that took me the longest. I never knew you could control the coins like that. I just eventually got lucky and managed to fly while ducking down and slipped right in the gap. Took ages and was the last secret I ever found.

Thank you for this helpful video! I think this was actually my first time playing through the entire game 100%. Unfortunately I didn’t grow up with a SNES my dad bought a Sega Genesis instead so I missed out on Super Mario World growing up. And Super Mario Bros. 3 has always been my favorite out of the franchise but this game is definitely my 2nd choice for all time best Mario game! I really enjoyed going through this again but taking much more time than my previous playthroughs

@ 18:08 on the last Boo House (Valley Ghost House) where you have to steer the coins to make steps to make it in that tiny open space to get the secret exit key. I for the life of me could not steer those coins to the perfect height to manage to go right through the opening. I final just decided to have a boo hit me when I got near the opening so I could be small enough to just jump through it lol it made that part Soo much easier for me! I don’t know how you got that perfectly on your first try!

I don’t understand how I’ve done both exits on Donut Plains 1 level, yet it’s still red instead of yellow? Do they just stay red to let players know there’s 2 exits in the level, even after you complete both?

Games back then were made to be so much more fun because us young kids at that time either couldn’t get far in the game or you talk amongst your friends trying to figure out a certain part in a game, back when you didn’t have RUclips and google to help you with games it was either reading gaming magazines, calling long distance to get help from Nintendo company, or just by accidentally figuring it out on your own! lol I was just thankful for the game Genie back in the day and then later on Game Sharks and GameFAQ’s. I still have a huge 3 ring binder filled with gameFaqs and walkthroughs printed up off the internet to help us with games like Banjo Kazooie or Ocarina Of Time!
